Latest Accreditation Regulations 2025-2026

The accreditation landscape in Indonesia has undergone significant regulatory changes in 2025-2026. Institutions must stay updated to ensure compliance and successful accreditation results.

BAN-PDM Instrument Changes

BAN-PDM released a new instrument with revised weighting for each of the 8 National Education Standards. Process Standard and Assessment Standard now carry higher weight. The instrument places greater emphasis on evidence of learning outcomes rather than administrative completeness.

Standard Adjustments

Several standards have been updated to reflect the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka). Graduate Competency Standard now includes profile Pelajar Pancasila. Facilities Standard now considers digital learning infrastructure as a requirement, not an add-on.

Digitalisation Push

Both BAN-PDM and BAN-PT are accelerating digitalisation. Sispena and similar platforms now require more data fields and support real-time document uploads. Institutions with mature digital systems are scoring higher because they can provide complete, well-organised evidence.
